Dr. Rajesh Talwar has not been cleared yet. The CBI has not given him a clean chit and withdrawn the case against him. They simply said that they still have no evidence to implicate him in the double murders and they have pinpointed the possible killers - the 3 servants. Dr. Talwar is out on 2 personal bail bonds of 5 lacs each.

If there is no evidence found against the accused and the investigation agency says so, it is pretty much a ’clean chit’. So far as his being out on bail is concerned, the bail would get dissolved once the CBI submits its report and finding to the concerned court.

With no evidence in hand there is no point in proceeding any further because the court will almost immediately quash the chargesheet in such a case.

What’s the point of than now. They have already blown the guys reputation and life to shreds. Clearing him now is just too little, way too late.

Very right indeed. Dr Talwar’s life has been pretty much ruined now. And yet he’d rather be free than say hanged for a crime that he did not commit. Better alive than dead, I guess.

:-| Its unfortunate. poor guy spent almost a month in jail, must have been tortured by the police, haunted by the murder of his daughter and split wide open on national television. what could be worse than this. clearing his name wont undo the shit that has been thrown onto him.

This is our investigating capability under the immense pressure of Media.

agreed. but i wish the police would stop calling press conferences until they’re sure of what they’re saying. if there was someone who was confused about the whole incident it was the police, who kept confusing the people as well with their theories. investigating capability is okay, but character assassination just to save your own a** is not.
